Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading software development teams directly, with active involvement in execution—not limited to coordination or status reporting.
  • Hands-on experience working in software delivery environments, collaborating closely with engineers on a day-to-day basis.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project/delivery management fundamentals.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, evolving priorities, and partially defined processes with confidence and structure.
  • Experience managing stakeholders and clients, including handling challenging conversations and setting clear expectations.
  • Strong ability to identify and manage trade-offs, risks, and dependencies early in the delivery process.
  • Solid understanding of technical concepts such as APIs, cloud infrastructure, system integrations, and delivery risks (no coding required, but technical fluency is expected).
  • Strong written and spoken English skills. Minimum level: Upper Intermediate (B2+), with preference for Advanced (C1).

Nice to have:

  • Experience in startup-like environments or projects with evolving processes.
  • Exposure to technical product counterparts or architecture-driven conversations.
  • Experience working across multiple teams or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and delivery metrics/reporting.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering workstreams, ensuring consistent progress, alignment, and delivery outcomes across projects.
  • Act as a bridge between client needs, product direction, and engineering execution, facilitating clear communication and alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, tech leads, and both technical and non-technical stakeholders daily.
  • Identify blockers early, communicate them proactively, and drive resolution in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Take a proactive approach to delivery, contributing wherever needed to keep projects moving forward and aligned with goals.
  • Operate with a high level of autonomy, identifying gaps and proposing effective solutions before they become risks.
  • Ensure priorities, scope, and expectations are clearly understood and managed across stakeholders.
  • Support decision-making by identifying trade-offs, risks, and dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Translate business and client needs into actionable work, ensure clear priorities, and maintain visibility, communication, and accountability across teams.

Soft Skills:

  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving environments with flexibility.
  • Ownership: Takes responsibility, follows through, and drives work forward with minimal oversight.
  • Proactivity: Actively questions, proposes ideas, and moves initiatives ahead.
  • Resilience: Maintains a positive and constructive approach when working with legacy systems or imperfect contexts.
  • Curiosity & Technical Interest: Eager to understand how the product and engineering teams operate.
  • Pragmatism: Makes balanced decisions, considering urgency, quality, and context without unnecessary complexity.
