Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8–12 years of professional experience managing complex SAP ERP programs or implementations.
  • Proven background leading large-scale SAP ERP implementations, including custom-built or greenfield environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing migrations between SAP and legacy enterprise systems.
  • Solid understanding and practical application of the ASAP methodology, particularly within traditional waterfall delivery models.
  • Familiarity with agile practices such as stand-ups, iterative demonstrations, and incremental build cycles in hybrid project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of WRICEF / FRICEW objects, including inventory management and lifecycle planning from functional specifications through technical design, development, TUT, and FUT.
  • Experience planning and directing all phases of large SAP ERP initiatives, from project initiation through stabilization.
  • Ability to define and guide project methodologies while ensuring documentation, audit, and compliance standards are properly maintained.
  • Experience coordinating data migration, conversion, and integration workstreams between SAP platforms and legacy systems.
  • Proficiency with project and program management tools such as MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, or other PPM platforms for scheduling, financial tracking, and status reporting.
  • Experience managing large multi-year program budgets, including forecasting, variance analysis, and financial oversight.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring less experienced project managers within complex program environments.
  • Minimum Upper Intermediate English (B2) or Proficient (C1).

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of large-scale SAP ERP programs, including custom or greenfield implementations, applying the ASAP methodology and integrating agile collaboration practices where beneficial.
  • Plan and oversee the complete SAP ERP project lifecycle, covering phases such as initiation, blueprinting, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Manage the planning and delivery of WRICEF/FRICEW development objects, maintaining inventories and coordinating their progression from functional definition through development and testing cycles.
  • Coordinate data migration and system integration activities, ensuring accurate mapping, validation processes, and seamless interoperability with both SAP and legacy systems.
  • Define and maintain project methodologies while ensuring that governance, documentation, and audit standards are consistently applied across all stages of the program.
  • Oversee financial management of large SAP programs, including multi-year budgets, forecasting, variance tracking, and cost control.
  • Utilize project management platforms to maintain schedules, monitor progress, manage program financials, and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders.
  • Lead project management teams within the SAP Delivery Center, balancing program execution with leadership responsibilities.
  • Structure project teams based on program scope and complexity, allocating responsibilities and establishing clear performance expectations.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level project managers, supporting their development in SAP delivery practices, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Promote adherence to PMO standards, tools, and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality project execution.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes accountability, effective communication, and proactive risk management across cross-functional teams.
