Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • More than 6 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD platforms using GitHub and/or Azure DevOps.
  • At least 4 years of experience developing infrastructure-as-code solutions and automating environment lifecycle management with Terraform, including reusable modules and multi-environment promotion strategies.
  • Proven expertise in establishing governance frameworks for software delivery through policy-as-code, change management controls, exception processes, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Hands-on experience securing software supply chains through artifact attestation, provenance validation, signing mechanisms, verification processes, and private artifact repositories.
  • Experience integrating delivery platforms with enterprise operational workflows, including ServiceNow automation and CAB-related processes.
  • Strong scripting and automation capabilities using Bash, PowerShell, and Python, with the ability to troubleshoot complex pipeline, infrastructure, and execution environment issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership in technical decision-making, driving platform adoption, defining standards, and aligning stakeholders across multiple teams.
  • Solid experience with GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows, branch protection strategies, required validations, CODEOWNERS configuration, and runner management; or equivalent expertise with Azure DevOps pipelines, agent pools, environments, and approval processes.
  • Experience implementing and enforcing policy-as-code frameworks such as Kyverno and/or Sentinel within automated delivery pipelines.
  • Knowledge of integrating DevSecOps tools, including SonarQube and security scanning solutions, into software delivery processes.
  • Experience enabling observability practices through platforms such as AppInsights and Dynatrace, including dashboard automation and alerting standards.
  • Familiarity with reliability engineering concepts, incident response procedures, availability management, and on-call operational readiness.
  • Experience automating CAB-related workflows and change approval processes.
  • Knowledge of implementing GitHub artifact attestation solutions and related security controls.
  • Experience managing Sentinel policy repositories, governance models, and change control procedures.
  • Background in building automated acceptance testing and performance testing frameworks.
  • Experience developing internal automation tools, bots, or platform applications that streamline engineering workflows and enforce standards.
  • Familiarity with progressive delivery technologies such as LaunchDarkly or Flagger.
  • Minimum Upper Intermediate English (B2) or Proficient (C1).

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, ownership, and continuous improvement of the enterprise CI/CD platform, providing reusable templates, secure configurations, quality controls, and developer-focused capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure delivery pipelines that support environment provisioning, promotion processes, drift detection, and controlled deployment strategies.
  • Define and manage governance standards for software delivery, including policy catalogs, approval workflows, exception handling mechanisms, audit traceability, and compliance evidence generation.
  • Implement automated compliance validations, security scanning, and policy enforcement throughout delivery pipelines while continuously improving the relevance and quality of findings.
  • Enable reliable large-scale releases through progressive deployment approaches, feature flag integrations, zero-downtime strategies, and standardized rollback and validation procedures.
  • Integrate change management processes with ServiceNow and CAB workflows to increase automation while maintaining governance and traceability requirements.
  • Operate and optimize build infrastructure, including runners, agents, and build pools, ensuring performance, stability, security hardening, patch management, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain software supply chain security controls, including artifact provenance, attestation, signing, verification, and repository management practices.
  • Incorporate DevSecOps tooling into delivery pipelines and support engineering teams in identifying, prioritizing, and remediating security findings through automation and reporting.
  • Develop internal tools and automation solutions that simplify developer workflows and encourage adherence to platform standards.
  • Provide standardized automated testing capabilities, including acceptance, performance, resiliency, chaos, and operational readiness testing as part of delivery pipelines.
  • Promote observability best practices by supporting instrumentation standards, dashboards-as-code implementations, and alerting strategies in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with SRE and operational teams to strengthen reliability practices, availability objectives, incident management processes, and operational readiness programs.
