Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Over eight years of experience in backend software development, with a strong emphasis on .NET technologies.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives or teams, promoting autonomy and efficient execution.
- Advanced knowledge of ASP.NET and C# within the .NET Framework 4.8 environment.
- Experience working with ADO.NET, Entity Framework, and proprietary ORM solutions.
- Skilled in integrating services through WCF/SOAP and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience using DynaTrace for performance monitoring and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and Kubernetes, especially in contexts involving migrations from virtual machines.
- Comfortable navigating and enhancing systems with limited documentation.
- Strong analytical abilities to anticipate problems and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude in identifying and addressing issues.
- Minimum Upper Intermediate English (B2) or Proficient (C1).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead the backend development and define technical direction for legacy .NET systems with sparse documentation.
- Analyze intricate and tightly coupled codebases to uncover technical risks and areas for improvement.
- Establish and champion best practices in observability, monitoring, logging, and automated testing.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to transition application deployments from VMs to Kubernetes containers.
- Mentor developers, encouraging accountability, transparency, and open communication.
- Investigate and resolve production issues promptly to ensure system stability and availability.
- Maintain and integrate backend components using WCF/SOAP and REST APIs.
- Propose modernization approaches for outdated components and custom ORM layers.
