Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience building and maintaining backend solutions using PHP and Laravel.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL and backend development for custom PHP-based platforms.
- Experience developing new features, performance improvements, and maintenance updates for existing products.
- Ability to work on integrations with external services, including prize stores, welcome or print kit flows, and solicitation-related capabilities.
- Experience integrating third-party services commonly used in fundraising platforms, such as payment gateways, email, texting, and donation flows.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience working with GitLab, code review processes, and coordinated deployment workflows.
- Minimum Upper Intermediate English (B2) or Proficient (C1).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop backend features for Get Movin’ / FundHub, supporting priority initiatives for the Fall 2026 peak season.
- • Support and enhance Read-A-Thon Core through incremental feature development, optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
- • Collaborate with the external MSP supporting the acquired Graystone product during the transition period.
- • Coordinate technical work within the client’s development flow, including GitLab-based reviews and planned deployments.
