Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience administering Atlassian tools, particularly Jira, Confluence, and Jira Product Discovery.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira configuration, including workflows, schemes, issue types, screens, and custom fields.
  • Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and optimizing automation rules within Jira.
  • Solid understanding of how Jira configuration elements interact and impact overall platform behavior.
  • Ability to design scalable, sustainable, and easy-to-maintain configurations aligned with business processes.
  • Experience managing Confluence spaces, permissions, and access settings.
  • Capability to support structured content organization and guide users in page creation best practices.
  • Familiarity with integrations between Confluence and Jira to ensure connected and efficient workflows.
  • Experience reviewing Atlassian Marketplace applications, including their business value, security implications, and operational impact.
  • Ability to recommend, implement, and oversee app adoption according to business needs and governance standards.
  • Strong skills in building dashboards, filters, and reports to improve visibility and support data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to translate Jira data into meaningful insights for teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience analyzing business processes and converting requirements into effective workflows and system configurations.
  • Solid understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Agile certifications, such as CSM or similar credentials, are considered a plus.
  • Experience creating user guides, training materials, and onboarding resources for different audiences.
  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear and well-structured materials for end users and stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead demos, workshops, and alignment sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical solutions in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Sound judgment to evaluate configuration requests critically and maintain governance, usability, and long-term platform sustainability. 
  • Understanding of best practices to prevent over-configuration, reduce maintenance overhead, and preserve data quality.
  • Minimum Upper Intermediate English (B2) or Proficient (C1).

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration, performance, and governance of the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Product Discovery.
  • Configure and maintain Jira components such as workflows, schemes, issue types, custom fields, and automation rules.
  • Monitor and manage dependencies across Jira configuration elements to ensure consistency and maintainability.
  • Administer Confluence spaces, permissions, and content structures to support effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain and enhance integrations between Jira and Confluence to improve team workflows.
  • Evaluate Atlassian Marketplace apps by reviewing their functionality, security, and operational impact before adoption.
  • Recommend and manage app implementations that add value while aligning with platform standards.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and filters that provide teams and stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • Partner with stakeholders to map processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into platform solutions.
  • Support Agile ways of working by aligning tool configurations with Scrum and Kanban practices.
  • Create training materials and documentation to drive onboarding, user adoption, and administrator enablement.
  • Facilitate workshops, demos, and stakeholder sessions to ensure alignment and clarity around proposed solutions.
  • Review incoming requests critically and ensure that any platform changes support governance, usability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Promote best practices that reduce unnecessary complexity, improve user experience, and protect data integrity.
