Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Azure DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), cloud engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong software development capabilities using C#, Python, PowerShell, or comparable technologies, with experience building robust automation tools and services.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, including Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture patterns, and distributed systems.
- Proven experience working with Kubernetes, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), as well as containerized and microservices-based environments.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Experience designing and implementing observability solutions covering monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, and alerting.
- Solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering practices, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability metrics.
- Strong knowledge of Git workflows, branching models, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with Azure Landing Zones, cloud governance frameworks, and enterprise-scale cloud architectures is preferred.
- Familiarity with additional CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins is desirable.
- Exposure to chaos engineering platforms such as Gremlin or Chaos Mesh is preferred.
- Experience supporting highly available and mission-critical systems is valued.
- Knowledge of cloud security practices, including RBAC, managed identities, secure secrets management, and zero-trust principles.
- Minimum Upper Intermediate English (B2) or Proficient (C1).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain YAML-based Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines supporting application and infrastructure releases.
- Apply SRE practices across systems and services, including observability, incident management, post-incident reviews, error budgets, and service-level objectives.
- Build automation utilities, internal tools, and services using technologies such as C#, Python, and PowerShell.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure through code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Administer and optimize Azure services such as AKS, App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, API Management, and Azure SQL.
- Establish effective monitoring and alerting capabilities using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and, when applicable, Grafana and Prometheus.
- Strengthen platform reliability through performance optimization, capacity planning, resilience validation, and chaos engineering practices.
- Partner with development teams to promote reliable, scalable, and cloud-native application architectures.
- Support containerized workloads and orchestration environments using Docker and Kubernetes on AKS.
- Continuously enhance deployment workflows, release automation, and cloud governance practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations and take an active role in coordinating incident response when required.
- Communicate effectively with technical stakeholders and collaborate closely across engineering teams.
- Adapt effectively to the priorities and changing demands of a fast-paced development environment.
