Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid academic background in technology or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
- Strong expertise in backend development using Java Spring Boot and FastAPI, with extensive experience building scalable services and a strong emphasis on Spring Boot.
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience working with public cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Practical experience developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies.
- At least 2 years of experience developing frontend applications with Angular.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence concepts and technologies, such as LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning, and AI agent frameworks, is considered an advantage.
- Ability to coordinate small to medium-sized initiatives while delivering high-quality results under demanding timelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside both technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- Interest in continuously learning emerging technologies and expanding technical expertise across different domains.
- Minimum Upper Intermediate English (B2) or Proficient (C1).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services supporting AI platform capabilities.
- Build and enhance asynchronous APIs using FastAPI and Java Spring Boot.
- Implement integrations based on message queues and event-driven architectures.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of frontend features using Angular.
- Work daily with Microsoft Azure services to deploy, operate, and optimize cloud-based solutions.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure through Terraform following Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Create, improve, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Investigate and resolve deployment issues affecting APIs running on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Ensure effective monitoring and observability of Azure-hosted solutions using Datadog or similar observability platforms.
- Support SLA compliance and participate in incident management activities.
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation for implemented solutions and processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and cross-functional technology teams to successfully deliver project objectives.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation and provide customer support during business hours when required.
